Brief introduction of double stud
No head, only a kind of fastener with threads at both ends. When connecting, one end must be screwed into the parts with internal threaded holes, the other end must pass through the parts with through holes, and then the nut is screwed so that the two parts are tightly connected into a whole. This form of connection is called stud connection and also belongs to removable connection. It is mainly used for the occasion where one of the connected parts is thicker, requires compact structure, or is not suitable for bolted connection because of frequent disassembly.

Classified Use of Double Head Bolts
1. BM = 1D studs are generally used for the connection between two steel connected parts; BM = 1.25d and BM = 1.5D studs are generally used for the connection between cast iron connected parts and steel connected parts; BM = 2D studs are generally used for the connection between aluminum alloy connected parts and steel connected parts. The former connector has internal thread holes, and the latter connector has through holes.
2. The threads at both ends of the equal-length double-headed stud should be matched with nuts and washers for two connected parts with through holes.
One end of the welding stud is welded on the surface of the jointed parts, the other end (thread end) passes through the jointed parts with through holes, then sleeves the gasket and screws the nut, so that the two jointed parts are connected as a whole.
